I look back and realize it has been an entire year since I last posted. Wow. So much has happened in the last year in my jewelry business and in life. I have taught tons of classes and made tons of jewelry. I started selling my jewelry locally at bazaars and shows and learned lots of new techniques.
I am taking a break from teaching for the winter and spring and hoping to delve into new jewelry making techniques. My two interests are soldering and polymer clay. I have the materials I just haven't had the time. I am also trying to take better care of myself and get back into exercising. I hope to share the journey with you all on my little blog.
In the lastest news I did an art class at school for the 6th graders. They need to raise $160 each to attend a 4 day camp at the end of the year called EFT. So we are making bottle cap necklaces, rings, and glass magnets. All the kids made a bunch and are very excited to sell them to raise money in the coming weeks. I also hope the raise some money as my daughter is also trying to save up the money for EFT.
Here are a few samples of what we made.
